Be part of the Hydrogen opportunity

KEEN Partners, together with BBAMZ (Bell Bay Advanced Manufacturing Zone) are thrilled to announce we will facilitate 2 x 2-Day Workshops targeted at business leaders and owners who want to learn more about what it will require to be a supplier to the Tasmanian Hydrogen Industry sector.

The March events are already full, however, you have a chance to be part of the April workshops.

What is it?
Utilising an experienced facilitator from H2H Advantage (with 12 years of experience solely around hydrogen), the 2 day workshop will assist business owners in areas such as manufacturing and energy to gain sufficient knowledge to position their business to be part of this exciting opportunity. CEO of H2H Advantage, Cranston Polson, has worked with companies such as Hyundai, Toyota, Hydro Tasmania, CSIRO and Siemens just to name a few and will cover topics such as:

  • Working with Hydrogens physical and chemical properties

  • Production technologies

  • Storage technologies

  • Conversion tech including combustion and fuel cell systems

  • Economics of hydrogen

  • Plant and refuelling station designs including considerations

  • Hydrogen safety and standards

Who are welcome?
There are only 19 positions available, and businesses are welcome to apply from across the state with a maximum of 2 people per business. You’re also welcome to enquire to see if this will be beneficial to your business.

How much does it cost?
The workshops have been funded by Skills Tasmania.

When?
April 13 and 14 in George Town

With thanks:
KEEN thanks BBAMZ for initiating this opportunity and we were pleased to partner with them and combine the strengths of both organisations to bring this to fruition. KEEN also congratulates Artibus Innovation who were successful in receiving funds targeting Hydrogen Ready Training and the other three recipients (Beacon Foundation, Circular Head Council and Cradle Coast Authority) who were successful with their applications which target the broader renewable energy industry.
