KEEN partnership with the Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) Northern Tasmania

KEEN Partners is excited to be partnering with the Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) Northern Tasmania in a pathway to employment program in the building and construction sector.

Previous programs have uncovered some wonderful workers.

This program/regional employment trial will involve 6 participants from the MRC Northern Tasmania. Participants will be introduced to the sector at the MRC, and then embark on a 5-day training course with a registered training organisation (RTO). Training will cover, safety, power tools, manual handling, and a white card qualification.

The final part of the program involves participants being placed with building and construction businesses for a total of 40hrs over a six-week period, eventually leading to successful employment.

KEEN is looking for interested building and construction businesses to participate in this program with the view of providing employment opportunities once completed.
